Dr. Carlos attended medical school at Oporto University (ICBAS, Portugal), graduating in 2003. He completed his five-year paediatric residency in 2011 at a tertiary public hospital in Oporto district.
Dr Carlos has over 16 years of experience in the field, He has worked in high dependency/intensive care units (neonatal and paediatric) including undertaking a Fellowship at St Thomas' Hospital in London. He has also previously worked in private practice as a general paediatrician in Portugal and Dubai.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and is on the Specialist Register (GMC -UK).
