She received her master's degree from KLE University, India. She was then awarded the prestigious Membership in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK (MOMS RCSEd). She has completed the requirements and received the Fellowship of International Congress of Oral Surgeons (FICOI). She was also conferred the Fellowship of the International College of Surgeons(FICS).
