Dr. Qasim has been practising as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in the UAE since 2012 and has served at several prestigious hospitals in the United Kingdom and Ireland for more than 12 years. He specialises in paediatric ophthalmology, including cataract surgery, childhood ocular motility, squint surgery and vision screening of premature babies. He is also highly skilled at performing eye procedures on diabetic patients.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow. He also holds a position on the European Board of Ophthalmology.
