Summary: Dr. Al Hakim joined Mediclinic City Hospital with 16 years of experience in the United Kingdom, where he was working as a consultant general adult psychiatrist.

He achieved his undergraduate medical degree in Europe, then moved to the UK to start his rotational foundation years. Following that he joined a psychiatric training programme and has gained wide ranging experience in multiple psychiatric sub-specialities including eating disorders, neuropsychiatry, rehabilitation psychiatry, drugs and alcohol, child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic and old age psychiatry.
