- Dr. Akram is a specialist otolaryngologist (ear, nose & throat and head & neck surgeon) with over 10 years of experience in the UAE. Dr. Akram completed four years (1999-2003) of training in ENT surgery at Jordan University Hospital, Amman, Jordan. He is a fellow of the ENT department at Jordan University Hospital, and also undertook training courses at the Imperial College hospitals (Charing Cross and Chelsea and Westminster hospitals) in 2005.
