- An Egyptian-trained physiotherapist, Engy graduated from Cairo University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. Since then, Engy has focused on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, gaining experience in both governmental hospitals and private clinics across Egypt. In 2016, she relocated to the UAE, where SHE worked in private hospitals as an MSK Physiotherapist before joining Mediclinic in 2024.
In 2023, Engy completed a Master of Science in specialist physiotherapy practice from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. Her specialiSation encompasses all facets of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, covering upper limbs, lower limbs, and spinal conditions.
Her treatment philosophy takes a patient-centric approach, with the primary goal of educating and empowering patients to effectively manage pain and prevent re-injury. Her emphasis is exercise and rehabilitation, complemented by manual therapy and deep dry-needling techniques. She specialises in addressing a wide range of conditions, including upper and lower limb tendinopathies, ligament injuries, rotator cuff pain, as well as acute and chronic spinal pain, encompassing neck and lower back conditions.
