- As an athlete herself, sport has always been a passion for Dr. Ramya. She firmly believes that sport can change lives. She has an MD in Sports Medicine and is currently pursuing her MSc in Football Medicine from the University of Bath, UK. She is an experienced Sports Medicine Physician working with professional athletes, weekend warriors and non-athletes. She has experience working as the team doctor for the Indian Women’s cricket team, Wheelchair Basketball Indian Men and Women’s teams and the Under-17 Indian Women’s Football team.
Her special interests include football medicine, exercise and lifestyle medicine, physical activity and women’s health, physical activity and mental health, wrist and hand injuries, peripheral nerve compressions.
