Dr. Sandhya Das graduated from the Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, Punjab India after which she went on to obtain a post graduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She gained vast practical experience serving at the Clara Swain Mission Hospital in Bareilly-U.P., which is famous for being the first women's hospital in Asia. She has actively participated in the Indian government-aided programmes for family planning and contraception.
Dr. Sandhya worked in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for four years, after which she came to Dubai to work at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital. She has attended a broad number of conferences and courses in the region, and has been invited to give talks on breast cancer awareness at a number of schools throughout Dubai. She holds membership of the Indian Medical Association as well as the Emirates Medical Association and is firmly committed to providing specialised and personalised care in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for women throughout the region.
