Dr Tasneem completed her M.S. Ophthalmology from the Department of Ophthalmology at MGM Medical College and MYH (Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital), Indore, followed by a one year senior registrarship at Choithram Eye Hospital. She gained expertise in anetrior segment eye surgery specialising in small incision cataract microsurgery. She also completed her fellowship in Phacoemulsification at the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai (India).
She has varied experience in both private practice and speciality hospitals in India and Dubai with facilities for phacoemulsification, and high end equipment like optical coherence tomography etc.
She now works as a specialist ophthalmologist at Mediclinic Mirdif with expertise in diagnosis and management of anterior segment disorder with special interest in cornea, glaucoma, errors of refraction in children with strabismus and amblyopia, CVS, retinal disorder and eye injuries, with special interest in anterior segment.
