Dr Arsheena Mohamed is a consultant rheumatologist and GCAA approved specialist aeromedical examiner for Rheumatology in Dubai. She completed her higher specialist Rheumatology training in London at various internationally renowned tertiary centres including Royal Free Hospital, Barts Health and Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Her postgraduate medical training was in the East of England. She worked as a consultant at Ipswich Hospital, UK prior to moving to the UAE.
Her research experience includes a Fellowship at Cambridge University Hospital studying the role of patient education in early inflammatory arthritis and also in scleroderma research at Royal Free Hospital, London. Her awards include the National Travelling Fellowship by the British Society of Rheumatology and Eular Bursary award by the European League against Rheumatism.
She is a member of the Emirates Society for Rheumatology, British Medical Association, Royal College of Physicians and British Society of Rheumatology.
