- Wafa holds a Bachelor degree in Midwifery and a Diploma and Master degree in Diabetes Education from the National Institute for Diabetes, Endocrine and Genetics, The University of Jordan. She is also a certified insulin pump trainer.
She trained for two years at NIDEG and has five years' experience in SKMCA, Rashid Center for Diabetes and Research, Ajman. She helped establish the diabetes clinic in Masfoot Hospital and the paediatric diabetes and endocrine clinic in Rashid Center for Diabetes and Research. She also worked in the antenatal diabetic clinic of RCDR and SKMCA Hospital.
