Amera Varghese has 12 years of experience working as a clinical dietician in some of the largest hospitals in the UAE as well as in the aviation food industry with one of the world’s largest airline organisations. She pursued her initial hospital training in India and gained clinical hands-on experience on the specific nutritional needs of complex and complicated disease conditions across all life stages. She believes in promoting good dietary health and treating nutritional problems with practical but scientific advice about food choices, lifestyles, and healthy living.
She holds a Master's degree in food science and nutrition, specialising in dietetics, health and nutrition, with additional qualifications as a nutrigenetics counsellor and a certified Neuro linguist programming coach. She has also specialised in sports nutrition.
Her strength is helping educate people on practical and sustainable changes to improve the quality of their health and wellbeing. She designs therapeutic approaches to sustain and assist in achieving fitness goals. She works to provide great quality, individualised dietary advice, and support and provide treatment with tailored programmes to meet their needs.
She has also been actively involved in several conferences, television shows and community initiatives that are undertaken to help the community understand more about the importance of nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, and has served as a guest columnist in several newspapers.
