The social media post has not been published by Mediclinic. Mediclinic advises that people do not engage with the survey or respond. Dr. Asma Kamal obtained her medical degree at the University of Glasgow, UK, and went on to complete her specialist training gaining experience in the National Health Service ( UK) in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Surgery, Psychiatry and Obstetrics and Gynaecology, gaining the specialist qualification of Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK.
She is registered with the General Medical Council in the UK. Dr. Asma also has a special interest in Women's Health and has completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and she is involved in providing primary care services to both male and female patients of all ages. She is also actively involved in teaching medical students as an adjunct clinical faculty member for Family Medicine at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).
Dr. Asma is also certified as an IBCLC (healthcare professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding). She can be consulted for any issues you may have in relation to feeding your child such as difficulties with weight gain, problems with latch and symptoms affecting the breast during feeding such as nipple pain, mastitis, blocked ducts, etc.
