Dr Rishi Prasad is an Enthusiastic and dedicated Emergency Physician. He was born and brought up in the UK and did his medical training at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He did his Higher Specialist training in the Northern Deanery and East of England. He worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital as a practicing Physician, Clinical Director for Non-Elective Pathways, Chief Clinical Information Officer and Associate Medical Director. He then moved to Abu Dhabi for the last 5 years where he initially worked at Mafraq and then Sheikh Shakhboot Medical City (Seha-Mayo clinic collaboration). Here he provided direct clinical care to many patients at this busy regional Major trauma and burns centre. In addition to his clinical role he worked as Director for Patient Safety across the Hospital, ensuring and advocating for better patient care. He is now working as a hands-on Head of Department at Mediclinic City.
