Dr. Shallen Verma, Specialist Dentist, Periodontist and Implantologist, has over 25 years of experience in the field. He has specialised training in implants from Germany and Brazil and specialises in implantology, bone grafting and plastic periodontal surgery with special interests in TMD cases and laser assisted dental procedures. He also specialises in laser assisted dental procedures from Germany. He also has vast experience in General Dentistry. He continuously updates his knowledge by enrolling in continual education programmes.
He holds a Diploma in Orthodontics from the International College of Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Gnathology, Italy and has an MBA in Healthcare Services from Sikkim Manipal University. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Implantology and was also conferred the Honorary Fellowship of the International College of Dentists, which is a global body to recognise outstanding dentists working for benefit of mankind. Recently he was conferred with honorary Fellowship of the Academy of Dentistry International. He was awarded “Distinguished Medical Specialist”, in the Individual Specialist category, in Health Awards 2018, held under the auspices of DHA and the Thumbay group and was conferred with “Most Loved Dentist Award” for the Year 2010 in whole of the UAE and MENA region. He was also in Panel of Doctors responsible for providing dental care to the Prime Minister and President of India.
He has done many scientific presentations and contributes regularly to scientific journals and writes articles in various magazines. He has also appeared in a number of radio and television interviews.
