Dr Smitha Raghavan, is consultant trained from the United Kingdom with an experience of over 15 years in the NHS. She completed MBBS from the Rajiv Gandhi university of Health sciences in Bengaluru in 2002. She then moved to UK and undertook extensive and GMC regulated training within the National Health service of the UK. As part of her training she has been certified in advanced obstetrics- caring for women with low and High risk pregnancy and labour management , Laparoscopic /hysteroscopic (key-hole)surgery, Management of early pregnancy and late pregnancy complications, screening for and management of cervical pre-cancer changes (colposcopy). She completed MRCOG in 2009 and CCT in 2013. As a recognition of her contribution to the field of obstetrics and gynaecology she was awarded fellowship by Royal College of obstetricians and gynaecologists in 2021.
