Dr Ahmad has over 15 years of experience in General Surgery, including the last 11 years In the UAE. Has worked in various reputed tertiary care / teaching Hospitals in Pakistan including Khyber Teaching Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital, before Joining Mediclinic.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has a diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from Strasbourg University, France and is ATLS certified. He holds memberships of various international surgical societies including PSMBS (Pakistan Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery) and EHS (European Hernia Society).
He regularly attends various international conferences and courses to keep himself up-to-date and acquire emerging new techniques/skills.
