Dr. Wisam has been working as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Kings College Teaching Hospital in London, UK, since 2003. He has completed his CCST in UK with a fellowship in Pain Medicine. He graduated from the College of Medicine, Baghdad University with an MBChB.
As a consultant anaesthetist he has wide experience in the fields of Neuroanaesthesia, Bariatrics, Trauma and Orthopaedics, including ultrasound guided regional nerve blocks.
As a pain consultant, he is a foundation fellow of the Faculty of Pain of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, FFP MRCA. He also has a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management from the World Institute of Pain in the United States, FIPP.
