Summary: Dr. Howaida holds an MBBCh, MRCOG, FRCOG, CST, Arab Board and International Master in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist who has a special interest in fetomaternal Medicine. She has over 19 years’ experience and has obtained the certificate of specialist training (CST) from the UK. She moved to work in the UAE in 2004 and worked at Tawam Hospital for 10 years.
She has wide experience in the field of fetal medicine and completed an advanced OBGYN ultrasound diploma in 2013 and has continued to upgrade her skills in conducting first trimester, detailed second trimester scans and fetal echocardiography. In March 2023 she successfully completed the program of the international master’s degree in Fetal Maternal Medicine from Fetal ID -BC Natal Centre in Barcelona, Spain and University of Barcelona, Spain.

She is licenced by the Fetal Medicine Foundation for First Trimester Screening and on their nuchal translucency specialist list for the UAE and is experienced in providing comprehensive counselling to expectant mothers carrying a prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomaly.
