Dr. Fidal has 25 years' experience in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. He graduated from Assiut University in Egypt in 1995, followed by a residency programme in anaesthesia there. Assiut University Hospital is the third largest hospital in Egypt with a 2000 bed capacity. He also holds a master degree in Anaesthesia.
For the last 20 years he has worked in the UAE in specialising in general anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia and management of critical cases in the intensive care unit.
Prior to joining Mediclinic, he worked in Al Ain in Kanad Hospital which is an obstetrics and children's hospital with around 4000 deliveries per year, where he got considerable experience in managing cases of high risk pregnancy, critical emergency obstetric cases, epidural analgesia and pediatric anaesthesia.
