Dr Khawar Aziz Siddiqui is an consultant transplant anaesthesiologist. After finishing his basic medical qualification at Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan in 1995, he joined Anaesthesia training in 1999 and became a consultant in the Pakistan Army in 2004. He is a supervisor and examiner for membership and fellowship at CPSP, Pakistan.
In 2008, he joined SIUT as Assistant Professor and gained experience in renal transplants before joining Zayed Military Hospital, Abu Dhabi, where gained further exposure to ultrasound guided vascular access and regional block techniques.
After a brief stay at Northwick Park Hospital, London, he joined SIUT again as Associate Professor and developed further expertise in renal as well as liver transplant, before joining Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital, Abu Dhabi, in his first tenure in 2017.
He joined Liaquat National Hospital as Assistant Professor in 2019 and refined his skills in neuro anaesthesia, thoracic anaesthesia and paediatric and adult cardiac anaesthesia before joining us back at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital Abu Dhabi.
