Cindy Tran is a Clinical Psychologist from Sydney, Australia with more than a decade of experience. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2007 and a Master of Clinical Psychology in 2009.

While practising as a Clinical Psychologist in Australia for the past 13 years, Cindy worked in hospital, daypatient and outpatient settings in both the public and private sectors. She gained extensive experience working with a range of mental health difficulties including eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and relationship challenges. In her previous role as Team Leader at a tertiary state-wide eating disorders service, she led the development of an intensive outpatient program for adults with eating disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Cindy also provided training and supervision to trainee clinical psychologists and clinicians from a range of disciplines as a Board-approved supervisor and Program Coordinator for the Adult Eating Disorders Project ECHO.

Cindy works collaboratively with older adolescents and adults, utilising therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. With respect to eating disorders treatment, Cindy is trained in delivering Enhanced Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Specialist Supportive Clinical Management, Maudsley Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults and Family-Based Treatment. She is committed to evidence-based practice that is also tailored to each individual.
