Summary
Eva graduated with a Diploma in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Slovakia. In addition, she acquired her Master's degree from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Her thesis was focused on experiences of teenage girls with conservative treatment of scoliosis involving exercise and bracing therapy.
In addition to her academic education, Eva is a certified therapist in Neurodevelopmental Bobath concept, Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) Level 2, Vojta’s therapy and Schroth 3D scoliosis therapy. She continues to further upgrade her skills by completing postgraduate courses in manual therapy and different neurodevelopmental types of assessment such as Prechtl’s General Movements and Bayley scales of Infant and Toddler Development.

Since qualifying in 2003, Eva has worked in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the UAE in the National Health and Education services as well as in private settings. Practising paediatric physiotherapy in a variety of environments has contributed to her extensive experience in treating children with orthopaedic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

Eva has particular expertise in the assessment and early intervention of infants, prematurely born babies and children at risk of developing neurological dysfunctions. Moreover, she has an extensive knowledge and professional passion for treatment of children with spinal deformities.
