The social media post has not been published by Mediclinic. Mediclinic advises that people do not engage with the survey or respond. Dr. Aljassim, as well as working at Mediclinic City Hospital, is also head of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department at Dubai Health Authority. He qualified as a doctor and did his specialist training in Sweden before moving to Dubai in 2005 to further his career. He obtained his clinical PhD degree on a thesis titled 'Aortic Valve Surgery' from the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK.
His main areas of interest include adult cardiothoracic surgery, on-pump and off-pump coronary artery revascularisation, aortic and mitral valve surgery, general thoracic surgery, paediatric and congenital cardiac surgery. He is also interested in the development of cardiac programmes.
