He is experienced in managing a wide array of gastrointestinal conditions. He has a specialist interest in liver diseases, holding a PhD in the field of Hepatology. The liver conditions he regularly manages include fatty liver, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver disease and cirrhosis. He also has an interest in managing several gastroenterological conditions including Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, inflammatory bowel disease and functional conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome.

Dr. Usama Warshow received his medical degree from St Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospital Medical Colleges, London, and undertook his specialist training in South West Deanery and Oxford, UK. He is an active researcher and medical trainer who currently holds an Honorary Associate Professor position at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medical & Health Sciences. He has been involved in multiple multicentre trials and has publications in high impact peer-reviewed journals.
