Dr John Ferguson qualified in Medicine at Aberdeen University, with further training in General Practice in Scotland before overseas postings in Australia and the UAE. He joined Emirates Airline in 2004 and developed special interests in Aviation and Occupational Medicine, with post-graduate qualifications acquired in the UK.
He has extensive experience in the development of aviation services within the UAE including: • Senior Aeromedical Examiner and Medical Review Officer for the GCAA • Approved instructor and organiser of Aviation Medicine training courses • Head of first clinic in the UAE to be appointed as an aeromedical centre
Dr. Ferguson's specialty is Occupational Medicine and he currently works as a Specialist Aviation Medicine.
