Dr Anzal Rehman graduated from Avalon University School of Medicine in the Caribbean, including training at both the U.S., Seychelles, and Philippines. He completed his post-graduate internship at the Dubai, Latifa and Rashid Hospitals under the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), following which he completed his Emergency Medicine residency training at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi. During his time in Abu Dhabi, he served as Chief Resident and actively participated in teaching residents, interns, and medical students at the Emergency Department. Dr Anzal is the Founder and President of the Emirates Collaboration of Residents in Emergency Medicine (ECREM), host of the 'ECREM|talks' educational podcast, Editor-in-Chief for the Emirates Society of Emergency Medicine (ESEM) Monthly Newsletter, Guest Editor for the PLOS One Medical Journal, as well as a Member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine
