Dr. Vimala did her post graduate MD (Skin and STD) at the Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, India in 1997. She was awarded a Diploma in Dermatology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, U K in October 2008.
She has a great deal of experience in the evolving field of Dermatology, five years of which were as Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology, Kasturba Medical College, Karnataka, India. She also worked as a consultant in leading centres in India.
She has wide experience in treatment modalities such as phototherapy, cryosurgery, cautery chemical peels and skin lasers.
