- Rebecca is a British-trained physiotherapist who graduated in 2009 from The University of Birmingham, UK where she received a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since graduating she has worked in the UK with adults and children across hospitals, schools and clinics and specialised in treating paediatrics in 2011. Rebecca joined Mediclinic City Hospital in 2014 where she worked with the inpatient team across the paediatric intensive care (PICU) neonatal intensive care (NICU) and the children’s ward as well as seeing children with orthopaedic, neurological or developmental conditions in the outpatient clinic. Rebecca is now based at Mediclinic Springs providing paediatric physiotherapy in a child friendly clinic environment.
Rebecca has post graduate training in paediatric cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, Bobath therapy, Schroth best practice, deep dry needling and pilates principles with children. She has a special interest in working with children with developmental delay, scoliosis, plagiocephaly and paediatric respiratory physiotherapy especially cystic fibrosis.
Rebecca is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP,) Association of paediatric chartered physiotherapist (APCP) and the Health Professional Council (HPC) in the UK.
