Summary
Dr. Yee Ting studied medicine at Edinburgh University in 2006 and trained in radiology in West of Scotland, gaining the FRCR in 2012. She worked as Consultant Radiologist subspecializing in Breast Imaging, within the National Health Service (NHS) hospitals in U.K. She joined East of Scotland Breast Screening Centre in 2015 where she was appointed as Clinical Director to oversee the population screening of women across Tayside and Northeast Fife. In June 2015, she was awarded the Ellis Barnett Prize for most outstanding paper with ultrasound content published in Clinical Radiology journal
She is multi- linguistic. Apart from English, Mandarin and Malay, she is fluent in speaking 3 Chinese dialects, Cantonese, Hokkien and Foochow. She also completed Japanese Elementary level course undertaken as part-time learning in University of Edinburgh – and is able to comprehend basic hiragana, katakana & kanji.
