Our department specialises in the management of both trauma and elective orthopaedic conditions including complex fracture treatment, total knee and total hip replacement surgery, sports injuries around the knee and shoulder, foot and ankle procedures and shoulder and elbow conditions. Our department offers a bespoke and tailor made approach for patients providing all aspects of care from investigations using the latest available diagnostic technologies through to surgery in an optimal setting, as well as providing patient specific rehabilitation through a dedicated team of professional physiotherapists.
Mediclinic City Hospital’s highly experienced orthopaedic surgeons also sub-specialise in particular areas to ensure patients have access to the best possible levels of expertise.
The department has four orthopaedic and trauma surgeons along with a dedicated multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, nursing staff, physiotherapists and orthotics practitioners to help manage a wide variety of bone and joint disorders using both surgical and non- surgical treatment.
We also offer the "Enhanced Recovery Programme" which is a specific physiotherapy and rehabilitation programme for patients undergoing total knee and hip joint replacement, ensuring a pain free and rapid recovery – the first of its kind in the Middle East.
