Summary
Dr. Ebru Nur Yavuz is a highly accomplished neurology specialist and electroneurophysiologist based in Dubai, with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in clinical practice and academic research. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty, Istanbul University, in 2000, and went on to specialise in Neurology at Istanbul University’s Istanbul Medical Faculty,completing her training in 2009. Dr. Yavuz further enhanced her expertise with a Master of Science in Electroneurophysiology from Istanbul University in 2016.
Dr. Yavuz has worked in several of Turkey’s leading hospitals, acquiring extensive experience in both patient care and medical education. Between 2014 and 2021, she worked at Koç University Hospital in Istanbul, an institution integrated with the American Hospital. Here, she held the roles of general neurologist and electroneurophysiologist and was instrumental in establishing the Muscle Disease Center. She also contributed significantly to medical education by mentoring students at Koç University.
From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Yavuz worked at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital’s Spine Center as an electroneurophysiologist, while also serving as the Chief of the Neurology Department and Professor of Neurology at TR Demiroglu Bilim University.
Dr. Yavuz is the author or co-author of more than 30 scientific papers and has served as a peer reviewer for numerous medical journals, earning recognition for her contributions to the field of neurology.
Currently, Dr. Yavuz practises at Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai, having previously worked at CMC Hospital Dubai. With her extensive experience in neurology and electroneurophysiology, combined with her leadership roles and academic contributions, Dr. Yavuz is regarded as a respected authority in her field.
