One Cath lab is dedicated to treating coronary cases and that includes patients with heart attacks or blocked coronary arteries. The lab utilises the latest technologies to enhance image quality, and significantly reduce radiation exposure for patients and staff, with integrated intravascular ultrasound to ensure optimal stent deployment, and coronary pressure measurement to assess the functional significance of intermediate coronary blockages. In addition, the Cath lab has access to the latest technology to treat calcified coronary arteries such as rotablation atherectomy and intravascular lithotripsy.
The second Cath lab is a hybrid lab allowing doctors to perform the most advanced cardiac surgery, implantation of aortic valve via catheter technology, complex electrophysiology studies and intervention therapy for all cases of heart rhythm conditions using 3D mapping technology and the latest implantable cardiac devices.
