Mediclinic City Hospital is launching a new Acute Medical and Enhanced Care Unit, with state-of-the-art facilities and medical equipment.
The unit will increase the capacity of medical beds for adult patients and will also mark a significant change in the way we work.
The new clinical model will offer enhanced care for our patients who do not fit the criteria for admission to ICU, but who need strict monitoring and complex treatments.
The unit will be a hub with the patient at the centre, and specialists from different areas gathering to offer the best management of their condition.
The unit will be pivotal in managing patient flow throughout the hospital, allowing us to treat the right patient in the right place at the right time.
The launch of this unit is part of Mediclinic City Hospital’s constant effort to offer the most modern, dynamic and expert service, whilst optimising the patient and family experience.
