DAISY Award (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) is an international program that honours and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses and midwives provide everyday.
The family of J. Patrick Barnes established the DAISY Foundation after he died from complications of the autoimmune disease ITP . During his hospitalization they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family by the Nursing Staff so they felt compelled to say “Thank you “in a very public way. If you would like to thank your Nurse or Midwife for his/her special care, please fill in a DAISY nomination form below and share your story. Let us know why this person made such a positive difference to your care, and what special attributes he/she has that makes them standout.
So if you ever wanted to say thank you to a special Nurse or Midwife and how he/she made a difference you will never forget , this is one very special way to do it. Please share your story by filling in the form below
